AirWorks: Who We Are

AirWorks, Inc. has been founded not only on trust, experience, and unquestionable reputation; it also rests on the leadership and inspiration coming from its founders, Bill and Diane Yarus. Also known in the heating and cooling industry as the “Thermo Couple,” the Yaruses have built the company in 1995 and since then, they have added valuable knowledge to their repertoire, which enabled them to build and guide a team of reliable heating and cooling technicians.

Unquestionable Credentials

Before putting up the company and taking it to its current position, Bill and Diane had to go through extensive training and education, which equipped them in building what AirWorks is today. Bill finished a 4-year Virginia Apprenticeship Council HVACR program in 1983 and graduated Leadership Flathead in 2001. In 2005, he was named Top Tech Competition Finalist by the NATE (North American Technician Excellence) and in 2009, he became a Certified Building Analyst Professional by the Building Performance Institute. In addition, he also served as a Past Board Member of Flathead Building Association.. As for Diane, she earned a BS Biology degree from George Mason University in 1983 and followed it up with Graduate Studies in Computer Science at the George Washington University in 1986. Like Bill, she also holds a Leadership degree from Flathead in 2000. Since then, she has earned a number of recognitions: 2002 Kalispell Chamber’s Business Woman of the Year, 2006 SBA Montana Women In Business Champion, 2007 United Way – Valleywide Volunteer of the Year, and a 2009 NAHB, Certified Green Professional. As for AirWorks, the company is an EPA Lead-Safe Certified Firm, # NAT-49956-1 and an MT- Dept. of Labor Registered Contractor #12716.
